Terms of Service
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing and using this ASSCAT Campus Rental Platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
As a user of this platform, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the accuracy of your account information
- Ensuring all items you list are legally yours to rent
- Providing accurate descriptions of rental items
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respecting the rights and property of other users
- Managing rental agreements and disputes professionally
3. ITEM LISTING REQUIREMENTS
When listing items on our platform, you must:
- Provide clear, honest descriptions of items
- Include accurate photos of the item's condition
- Disclose any damage, wear, or defects
- Set fair and reasonable rental prices
- Clearly state rental duration and terms
- Not list prohibited items (weapons, explosives, etc.)
4. RENTAL AGREEMENTS
Both parties (owner and renter) must agree to the rental terms before the rental begins. All rental agreements are binding contracts between the two parties. The platform serves as a facilitator but is not responsible for disputes arising from individual rental agreements.
5. PAYMENT AND COMMISSION
The platform retains a commission from each successful rental. All payments must be made through authorized payment methods. Refunds are handled according to the rental agreement terms established between parties.
6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users are prohibited from:
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempting to bypass platform security measures
- Using the platform for illegal purposes
- Engaging in discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Spamming or excessive contact with other users
7. LIABILITY LIMITATION
The platform provides the rental service on an "as is" basis. We are not responsible for damages to items during rental, disputes between parties, or financial losses resulting from rental transactions. Users assume full responsibility for items they rent out and agree to maintain appropriate insurance if necessary.
8. TERMINATION OF ACCOUNT
The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these terms. Termination may result in loss of access to the platform and associated services.
9. CHANGES TO TERMS
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform following changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

1. INTRODUCTION
The ASSCAT Campus Rental Platform is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

- Profile Information: Profile photo, location details, user type (student/instructor/staff)
- Item Information: Descriptions, photos, prices, rental terms of listed items
- Transaction Information: Rental history, payment records, ratings, reviews
- Communication Data: Messages, chat history between users
- Technical Information: IP address, device information, browser type, access logs
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use collected information for:
- Creating and managing your account
- Facilitating rental transactions between users
- Processing payments and resolving disputes
- Sending service notifications and updates
- Improving our platform and user experience
- Preventing fraud and ensuring platform security
- Complying with legal obligations
